Design

This Is My Website, Right?

So, I’d assume I can post whatever I’d like here (within reason!)

Lately I’ve been enjoying some time away from the computer, doing some woodworking in my garage.  It’s amazing to see how many useful and interesting things can be built with wood!  One of my first projects was to build a doll clothes dresser for my daughter.  She loved it!  In order to cut the the small pieces, I built a simple crosscut sled for my Ridgid table saw.  Here are a few pictures.

See how the plexiglass doesn’t go all the way across the jig? Well, it did when I bought it!  I tried drilling the screw holes and it cracked. For the rest of the holes, I used the drill in reverse and melted the holes through instead of cutting them.  Then they didn’t break at all!

Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Site Redesign

This is a redesign of a site that I manage for a church.  I did the first design several years ago and we felt like it was time to overhaul it again.

The entire site is built upon ExpressionEngine, a very powerful content management system.  The pastor of the church can update his podcasts, prayer need lists, and basic content.
